Gloria Desnet nee Greenspan

Loving wife of the late Nathan Desnet. Devoted mother of Barbara (Sherwin) Dicker and Holly (Scott Rubin) Desnet. Proud grandmother of Mitchell (Suzanne), Mindy (Michael), Abigail, and Jamie. Cherished great grandmother of Marissa and Joshua. Services and interment took place in Florida. Gloria was born and raised in Chicago, where she lived until moving to Delray Beach, Florida in 1986. She lived a full and happy life doing everything she enjoyed- singing, ballroom dancing, playing piano, throwing fabulous parties, baking delicious Mandelbread, and hand sewing wardrobes of doll clothes for everyone. She worked at Mather High School from 1969 to 1985 - she is best remembered and beloved by Matherites for keeping the halls of the school safe and the study halls quiet. In 87 years she never lost her sense of humor. The love she shared with everyone around her will never be forgotten.
