Beloved husband of Dr. Ruth Friedman. Loving father of Susannah Lilie, Sarah Lilie, Michael (Cathy) Friedman, Jonathan (Jennifer) Friedman. Proud grandfather of Sasha, Sonya, Ella, Hannah, Ally, Tess Friedman and Allie Lilie. Dear brother of Harold (Janis) Lilie. A graduate of Columbia University class ’67 and Indiana University. Service Sunday 10 AM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Dan will be sorely missed. He was a caring father, loving husband, and a dedicated professional. His sense of humor kept us all laughing. May he Never be forgotten by all those who knew and loved him.

I will truly miss Dan's visits to the office. He was always smiling and had a good joke to share with all. He kept us all laughing! Even when he would call on the phone he would have a joke. Great sense of humor! He will be missed by many! My thoughts are with his family.
