There are no words to describe the man that Paul Kohlenbrener was. He was a man who welcomed me into his family, home and life and treated me like one of his own. He inspired me to be a husband and father in much the same way that he was. His loss is devastating and the words that I do not have for the Kohlenbrener family have come out in the form of tears. PK may be gone in person but he lives on in all whose lives he touched. Sending my love and heartfelt condolences to you all.

Absolutely lovely man, mentor and friend. The hearts of my family goes out to the Kohlenbrener's. He did treat everyone no less than family - very special man. I wish we would have gotten the chance to get that White Sox game in. Very sad to hear this news. Our prayers and thoughts are with his family. He touched many - couldn't think of a better mentor. God bless, Gwen and Ian Flatt

Dear Lauren and Family,

I just learned of Paul's passing and I am very sorry for your loss.

I first met Paul 25 years ago and will never forget how kind and supportive he was to me at an early stage of my career. Although our contact has been sporadic over the years, his graciousness and encouragement has never waivered.

He will be greatly missed.
