as written to the Allante XLR Chapter by our member Nicholas Ferrantino.

It is with great sadness to hear this as Allante owners everywhere have lost a person I refer to as â??Mr. Allanteâ? he was not just a Allante supporter but like me owned a historic 1993 Allante Pace/Parade car that was at the 1992 76th Indy 500 and like I did, he donated that 1993 Allante to a Museum. He choose the CLC Museum and I the AACA Museum so a maximum amount of people can view the Cadillac history of the connection of Italian design firm Pininfarina with a Cadillac drive train. He will be missed, but not forgotten, as long as there is an Allante being driven on a American road. I can only think about Bob with this Italian saying â??Il vincitore eâ?? semplicemente un sognatore che non si eâ?? mai arreso!â? (A winner is simply a dreamer who never gave up!) and Bob was that dreamer and winner â??Addio Bella Bobâ?.
