My deepest condolences to Abby's family. I was shocked and saddened to hear,
of Abby's passing, when I was at the class reunion that Abby helped to plan, Abby loved people and always went out of her way to be helpful to them. I, and
the whole U-High class of 1962, will miss her.

I was so sad to learn of Abbyâ??s passing and send love to her family. Abby did so much for our Uhigh class by helping to bring us together at reunion time. She was always there to solve whatever issues came up as we planned for these events. She kept up with us in a way that was special. I will miss her. Millie (Eubanks) Carstensen.

Abby impressed me because she thought ceaselessly about others. I was able to observe this first-hand at her 50th anniversary dinner. She wanted to please each guest by choosing a certain dish they might like. She talked about her family with such great pride. I feel lucky to have known her.
