DR. Shapiro, alias Dr. Sharp Arrow. I worked with Dr. Shapiro ever since he joined the medical staff a
t NWCH. He was such a fun personality and we enjoyed many crazy and fun conversations. He spent a lot of time on our medical unit so all of us enjoyed his dry sense of humor. He was a very caring Doctor and person. He will be missed by so many. I offer my deepest sympathy to his entire family. May he rest in peace. Sincerely a former co-worker, and friend. Marilyn

While words can do little to help ease such a tremendous loss, know that he will be sorely missed by his colleagues and their patients!

To all of Dr. Shapiros family and close friends,
We have worked with Dr. Shapiro for many years at Northwest Community Hospital. His kind, compassionate care of his patients and his sweet disposition with the nurses will be one of his many legacies.
May you go in peace. God rest your soul.
He will be missed by so many.
Our thought and prayers are with his family.

Dr. Shapiro was my colleague and friend for many years. I will never forget the day I told him he reminded me of "Grumpy" from Snow White. He laughed and agreed with me! He was wise, compassionate doctor and a good friend. I will miss our interesting talks. His big heart and unique sense of humor made him truly original.
To his beloved mother and sister, I wish you peace at this difficult time. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Please know that I feel blessed to have called Dr. Shapiro my friend.
God bless you.
