Dear Family, Your mom and I were thrown together (happily) via the Equitable family of which my late husband, Dick, was a "member." So sorry about Marshall -- I did not know and I had not seen your mom in many years. But when we met, our connection was immediate, as I know it was with everyone because of her magnetic personality. She was a dynamic woman and right now I am struggling to remember the name of her wonderful shopâ?¦She made everyone happy, laugh, be their best selves and I am happy for your family that you had this treasure in your lives. I loved her and only this past week was thinking about her. Please accept my condolences for your loss. warmest regards, Ellie

Isabel was a wonderful sweet woman. I remember many a Friday or Saturday evening around the Pratt Ave. kitchen table, with both Isabel and Marshall holding court surrounded by Ron, Larry, Dede and Barb along with their friends and of course, Sasha the cat. Isabel always wanted to know what was new in your life and made you feel welcome and comfortable in their home. She was an entrepreneur as well, opening That Paper Place on Dempster in Skokie - and offered valet service, enlisting the help of Ron and Larry. She was a kind and loving matriarch of the Dickstein family and will be deeply missed. - Rob

I just heard about Isabel's passing from a fellow friend and fitness fan of our Skokie Weber class. I enjoyed meeting Isabel and having her in many of my classes for so many years. I am sure everyone misses her very much. Her family was certainly her treasure.
