I was one of those students Dr. Slatkin mentored and I continue to teach students the same way he guided me more than 20 years ago. He will always be remembered fondly as a great educator and a great man!

David enriched the lives of those that had the wonderful opportunity to connect with him. On a personnel level he was a compassionate and caring person, often putting the needs and interests of people and families first. On the professional level he represents a great Sequoia in life - where his values were deeply rooted and yet his impact branched out across the canopy of the professional academic pharmacy community having significant and meaningful impact on lives on many. May the memories of David serve all of us well. Bless the Slatkin Family at this time.
