OBITUARY

Fred Adler, M.D. passed away suddenly, July 20, 2016. He was a beloved doctor, husband, father and grandfather who leaves behind a grieving wife, a large family, patients, colleagues and friends. He practiced Internal Medicine in Northwest Indiana for 52 distinguished years and was a clinical professor of medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Adler is survived by his wife Judy, daughters Monica (Michael), Vanessa (Barnet), Selly (Dr. Greg), Janice (Ron) and Julie (Rick) and his son Carl. He leaves heartbroken grandchildren Sara, Alex, Rachel, Esther, Jake, Francesca, Matthew, Frannie, Naomi,Theo, Sid and Lou. He is also survived by his sister, Helena Arrechea, nieces and nephews in Argentina and extended family in Holland. Memorial services will be held Sunday July 24 at 1 PM at Chicago Sinai Congregation, 15 West Delaware, Chicago, Illinois. Heartfelt condolences to the wonderful family of a truly extraordinary person. Fred was someone who made you feel special, and showed interest in your life.
